If you have the inspiration, great communication skills & love the local music scene in Michigan then you can do it here as a freelance author. Send us a story, include some pictures and it may just end up as a feature article. Any genre, any style of article, written, audio or video of any indie band or artist from Michigan. (Do not send songs, audio or video, unless you have complied with the proper copyrite laws)
You do not have to be a professional journalist, but it helps. You do not get paid for this except through the shear enjoyment of helping to expose the world to your favorite local music.

I regretfully am posting this. But, I give up. It is not because I dont want to do it. But more like I simply do not have time to do it. By “it” I mean run this site. I work at the day job for 60-70 hours a week, squeeze in time for the family plus find time to do the podcast. There just simply isnt enough hours in a day for me to continue trying to go out and round up content for this site. Since the podcast has ad considerable growt and is really my first love I have chosen to continue doing it only. It is up to over 1000 downloads per episode. So if you listen to “Local, Loud and Proud” it can be heard on The Bush radio and can be downloaded at UBSN.
