Singer. Songwriter. Producer. Arranger. DJ. Family Man. Brandon Hardaway Allen a.k.a. Improvise/DJ Hardaway is many things but most importantly, he is a child of God, one that has a story to tell and a testimony to spread despite his faults, sins and shortcomings.
This 23 year old musician is a 5th semester student at the Berklee College of Music in Boston as a Music Business Major. His deep bass voice and unique blend of R&B, Hip Hop and Gospel sets him apart from his peers. His vision is to encourage people with meaningful and inspiring messages over contemporary R&B/Hip Hop concoctions. He also does voice overs for ads and commercial, hosts concerts and presents performers (introduced Lalah Hathaway at Berklee's Singer Showcase last April, and sings bass in the classical and a capella jazz styles as you will hear from Moody's Mood up above in the song player.
Throughout the years, he has been blessed to have shared the stage with the Boys Choir of Harlem, Aretha Franklin, Kathleen Battle, Whitney Houston, Don Irwin, Patrice Rushen, John Blackwell (Drummer for Prince and Justin Timberlake) and Bootsy Collins. In his one and one half year at Berklee, he has sung backgrounds for Singer's Night, MC'd Berklee's Singer Showcase, sung lead in an R&B Styles Concert, put together a Cafe Show with his band performing his original compositions as well as singing both lead and backgrounds in The Roots and Prince Tribute Cafe Shows. He has participated in the Original R&B, P-Funk and Hip Hop Ensembles. He has also been blessed and privledged to sing backgrounds for many of his colleagues such as

Disenchanted with most of today's music, Brandon hopes to spark a flame for the positive hip hop/r&b community and have a changing impact on the world for the better. One of the ways he did this was by playing old school hip hop/r&b from the early 2000's back to the 50's on his show The Time Turner on the Berklee Internet Radio Network sunday nights at 9pm EST. No matter the avenue, be rest assured that he will make/play music to make you dance, make you laugh, make you cry, make you think and perhaps bring you closer to God if you so wish..........
