The being known as DJ Genocyde has quite the history. In October of 2000, ideas for a goth/industrial rock opera were in the works concerning a character known as Vega Genocyde. Vega Genocyde’s story was to be an esoteric middle-finger salute to the media and a gross standing ovation to all of rock and roll’s positive side-effects. Songs that had been written, ideas that had been put to text, and even a group dedicated to the building of the project had been taken and attempts at creating the band that would have been known as The Genocydal Empyre were shelved with Damien vowing never to use those works due to the fact that they would have caused massive litigation and the small bits of creativity were deemed "Not worth it." Attempts at forming other bands never left the drawing board as the location and influence of others left Damien at a loss for reliable musicians who knew anything about industrial music. On March 28, 2005, it took hideous life on Hear The Pulse as a metal/goth/industrial rock net radio show. Vega Genocyde (once thought dead) atrociously took life as DJ Genocyde and The Genocydal Empyre found life again. DJ Genocyde set out to become the most hated personality in net radio, taking on political figures, social mentalities and offering the best and the brightest from the goth, metal and industrial music circuts, picking up a cult following. On August 10, 2005, Genocyde had succeeded in taking on his most bold and daring move yet... attacking the station manager on the air. Genocyde’s frustrations at the Hear The Pulse admin’s attempts at censorship had come to a head and Genocyde took himself, his show, and his following with him in search of another place to broadcast. The selection process in the next two weeks ensuing would prove harrowing, including a no-contest war of nerves with FreakRadio.net’s administration as well, and the selection of stations soon quickly narrowed themselves down to one station... KrushRadio.com. Newfound freedom of creativity, speech and license to cause chaos ensued as Genocyde’s show The Genocydal Empyre soon found a small crew including Cerny Safir, Autumn, Anuan Dragonfang, Hazel, and Gideon (all of whom loomed in the background doing various things and contributing music, art or just even ideas) and the show then grew into The Genocydal Empyre v2.0. The Crew has grown taking on more active characters like Lisa, our field reporter covering The West Memphis Three case, Bara and Pet London’s Kalling, Vic Mendoza of Krush’s VM Underground SHOW and even Zephyrael of Zeph’s Dark Daze and Lycan of The Lycan’s Den. Keep your eyes open. The Legacy Continues...
The Weekly World News Version: Genocyde... the name has struck fear into the hearts of over 27 star systems that have fallen before his iron grip. This Dark Lord became more powerful with each of the systems he crushed as he plowed through the systems, assimilating armies and finally ruling the Empyre unlike any other in history. Tragedy struck as Genocyde’s main vessel The USS Virus, crash landed on Earth, leaving him and the crew stranded. Through the past few years, the crew has been hard at work attempting to fix the Virus for relaunch but Lord Genocyde found transmitting signals that alerted the Denizens of Earth to his existence. Spreading his Impyrialist Propaganda, Lord Genocyde has taken on the masses and has broken through the collective conciousness in an attempt to turn the humans into a collective beacon for transmission back to the Empyre in an attempt to add one more system to the Empyre... making it a total of 28. Still, there are those in opposition. They will be crushed...

Shortly after three eight-year-old boys were found mutilated and murdered in West Memphis, Arkansas, local newspapers stated the killers had been caught. The police assured the public that the three teenagers in custody were definitely responsible for these horrible crimes. Evidence? The same police officers coerced an error-filled confession from Jessie Misskelley Jr., who is mentally handicapped. They subjected him to 12 hours of questioning without counsel or parental consent, audio-taping only two fragments totaling 46 minutes. Jessie recanted it that evening, but it was too late. Misskelley, Jason Baldwin and Damien Echols were all arrested on June 3, 1993, and convicted of murder in early 1994. Although there was no physical evidence, murder weapon, motive, or connection to the victims, the prosecution pathetically resorted to presenting black hair and clothing, heavy metal t-shirts, and Stephen King novels as proof that the boys were sacrificed in a satanic cult ritual. Unfathomably, Echols was sentenced to death, Baldwin received life without parole, and Misskelley got life plus 40. For over 12 years, The West Memphis Three have been imprisoned for crimes they didnt commit. Echols waits in solitary confinement for the lethal injection our tax dollars will pay for. They were all condemned by their poverty, incompetent defense, satanic panic and a rush to judgment. But there’s still hope for them, and you can help.
