About me: My father taught me the importance of family, immediate or extended, and that family isn't just blood. My Father taught me how to be the most loving man and future husband I can/could be. I learned that the term "wife" doesn't preclude the terms "partner," "best friend," or "passion." He showed me that after over twenty years of marriage, you can never be too romantic, and that there is no shame in being hopelessly in love with your wife. The only shame would be NOT being in love. He also taught me, no matter what, the woman is always right. Whether she is, or really isn't right, always give her the illusion she is right. He taught me I should serve as the best example of a man to his daughter, that way she'll never settle for anyone who's not at least as good as her daddy is. He also taught me not to judge people, as most people are just idiots. My father taught me how to pick the right girl. He also taught me it's oh-kay once in a while to duck out of school to see a movie, as a) a movie in the afternoon will save you money, and b) there's nothing in school that movie's can't teach you, plus in movies there's car chases and good music to boot. My father taught me respect for men and women alike, but more so women. He taught me all dreams are possible, even if they're as simple as having a wife, child, family and friends who love you for you. My Father taught me how to be a man – and not by instilling in me a sense of machismo or an agenda of dominance. He taught me that a real man doesn't take, he gives; he doesn't use force, he uses logic; doesn't play the role of trouble-maker, but rather, trouble-shooter; and most importantly, a real man is defined by what's in his heart, not his pants. I love my father, my mother, family and siblings. And some may say, "not always..." you don't always like them. But you always love them.

Who I'd like to meet: Kevin Smith, Diablo Cody, George Carlin, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Chris Reeve and my soul mate :)
Sounds good! I just got a call about the Mustang, it may be gone by tomorrow. Which would mean that I'd be able to afford to actually do something. haha
Sounds good, hopefully I'll have money for it. haha things are still tight for me. Working on trying to get a regular job while I'm getting the business fully up and running.
Same here dude. Wow so I just heard on the news, that on two totally separate highways/freeways (5 & 805) there are two refrigerators in the lanes lol. WTF?
Til Michael had to check in off of leave. If he wouldve been late there would have been trouble. So 2 hours seems like a lot but he didn't get to stop and sleep for like ten or so hours. So yeah it was pushing it lol.
Totally just got your comment. One more reason to hate myspace. The drive back was okay. It took about 30 hours. We took the scenic route and stopped a lot haha. Our phones died like right after crossing the border into California lol. And then we didn't get them charged up until about 8 or 9 pm because the expensive car charger we bought stopped working. Then an 8$ charger saved us. Sooo yeah lol. LA traffic was not fun, and we ended up back here with two hours to spare.
I met him at a book signing he did in L.A. a couple of years ago. It was for "Rant," the book he released before "Snuff." He was really cool and the reading/Q&A session he did was awesome. I have a few signed books that I have as souvenirs :p
Shopping...lucky lol, I'm at school today until 2 (so not too bad). My allergies are making me miserable though :(
Hahah well, I would, but...that's money that could be spent on better things...like weed and cigarettes and booze :) And it definitely does not beat the real thing. Lol.
Are you talking about "Snuff"? That was the book he released before his latest. I read it, it was very extreme lol. You should read "Haunted" and "Invisible Monsters" those are two of my faves. I met Chuck P a while back. He was so nice.
Hahahah. Nope, just anti-vampire dildos. Regular dildos are fine and dandy, although I don't have one. I wouldn't mind having one though ;) lol.
Chuck Palahniuk is amazing. I've read all of his books except for his most recent ("Pygmy") and I love them all except for "Diary" which I found mediocre :/ I'm thinking of going to Borders and buying Pygmy along with Chelsea Handler's books. Diablo Cody I find slightly pretentious and annoying so I don't know if I'd like that book lol :p
Hahaha The Vamp is so disgusting...if anyone ever buys me that, I'll probably find a way to kill them with it. Or sell it to some nasty teenager on Ebay for a ridiculous amount of money :p
Yay Borders shopping spree!!! I miss going to Borders and sitting around reading books & drinking coffee for hours on end...-sigh-...I need some new books myself. You have to tell me which books you get! I'd also recommend anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Dennis Lehane, Charles Bukowski, and William S. Burroughs :)
Anyways, yes, I've read every book in her "Vampire Chronicles" series and they are (in order, as far as I know, I might be one off): Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat (my fave), The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief (my fave), Memnoch the Devil, The Vampire Armand
Seriously they're all sooo good. I'm tempted to dig them out and start reading 'em again, and if anyone mistakes me for a Twi-fag, I'll stab 'em! :p
Lol yeah I don't remember ~*~Edward Cullen~*~ and his glittercrayon big-head bullshit having anything to do with actual vampire history. Ugh I hate that franchise so much!!!
Omg, don't judge Anne Rice novels based on that dumb movie lol. I didn't like it either, but the books are so good. They're really beautifully written and incredibly interesting. I think you'd like 'em :)
All this talk of Twilight (ugh) and vampires reminds me....do you know that they make Twilight themed sex toys???
Yeah, you should if you have the chance. They're extremely entertaining, and they should read first because technically they're written for, like, preteens. Lol. I read them in Junior High but I would so read them again. I've actually been trying to find them.
I love Bram Stoker's Dracula! I really love the history of vampires and stuff. I love love love Anne Rice novels. I don't understand, if our generation is going to have such an obsession with vampires, can't they at least do it right?
Yep definitely a wait for dvd thing. I didn't pay to watch it so it was all good lol. Yeah, I read the first 5 books in the Darren Shan saga (there's 12, I think, in total) and I loved them. I mean, they really do convey such an interesting perspective on vampires, which is definitely refreshing considering our generation's obsession with Twilight.
