About me:
Welcome to my space. Rick is my name but I really like Imsoul as an online name. Vancouver is the city where I grew up. Stanley Park was the place that I learned that animals are beings. I worked there in the Children’s Zoo. Around that time I also worked at the Animal Kingdom Pet Store in downtown Vancouver. Working and volunteering at many different jobs in my life has given me a rich experience with both animals and people. I am a lifelong student of the spiritual nature of all life. One day a book appeared at a library in Aldergrove outside of Vancouver. I was looking to learn about Astral travel and instead learned about Soul travel through the teachings of Eckankar.
I am a speaker as well as a musician. My music has been described as meditative, calming, healing, uplifting and inspirational. I want my music to help people feel uplifted and happy. At this time my photographs are the main feature but as time goes by I will add more of my music. Check out the video below that Omega Dawn helped me make. It features some photographs and an old recording of 'Night Sky', a piece of music that I wrote which is one of my favourites.
I thought that I was coming here to show people my music and my photographs but instead I am meeting the most wonderful caring people who have taught me a lot. I have been inspired by some and have begun to write poetry again. I will add some to the site when I have time. Check my blog for some stories of lessons in my life.
