I'm the Lion, You're Dead is a four piece metalcore band out of Mesa, Arizona. ITLYD played their first show in October 2006 under the name "Striking Resemblance", but later changed their name after having a serious conversation about health care plans with close friend, Dwight Schrute. The band is made up of four legendary artists: Kyle Walters on drums, Jason Sohr on guitar, Mario Camillo on bass, and Chris Elliott on vocals. All members come from different musical backgrounds and lead different lifestyles. This mesh of lifestyles only adds to the diversity and energy of the music that this band produces. The combination of metal, jazz, hardcore, and experimental influences leads to a unique sound that can not be matched. ITLYD's groundbreaking riffs and melodies will keep fans coming back for more.
