Yanira Martínez nació el 18 de abril de 1988 en El Salvador, Centro América.
Descubrió el canto a la edad de 7 años al ingresar al coro de su escuela,“al bajar de la tarima una mujer miembro de la iglesia, toco mi hombro y con lagrimas en sus ojos me dijo:Dios te bendiga. Allí fue que me di cuenta que había Nacido para esto” –Relata ella.
Yanira Martínez no solo es cantante, también es compositora.
Testimonio de ello son las letras de “Aliento a mi alma” y “Atrapado en libertad”.
Ha colaborado con varios artistas en el salvador y ha cantado en eventos importantes del mismo país.
Actualmente radica en Fremont, CA. USA., donde se congrega en la iglesia Comunidad Cristiana de Fremont. Tambien lidera alabanza en esta iglesia como parte de la banda Effusion.

Yanira Martinez was born on April 18th of 1988 in El Salvador, Central America.
She discovered Singing at the age of 7 when entering the choir of her school, “when we were coming down of the platform a member of the church touched my shoulder, and with tears in her eyes she said to me: God bless you.
Thats when I knew that i had been born for this” – She says. Yanira Martinez not only is a singer, also is a composer.
Testimony of this are the lyrics of “Aliento a mi alma” (Breath to my soul) and “Atrapado en Libertad” (Trapped in Freedom).
She has worked with several artists in El Salvador and sung in important events in the same country.
At the moment she lives in Fremont, CA. USA, where she congregates at Christian Community of Fremont Church. She also leads worship in this church as part of the Effusion Band.
