As an actress, comic and writer Fia has writtten and performed several solo shows
" Alice Out From Under", "Just Another White Chick From Westchester", all to critical acclaim in both New York and Los Angeles! " Neurotic In New York" played at the HBO Workspace. Her most recent solo show " Swiming Naked" which ran Off -Broadway in NYC and in los Angeles is now being developed into a feature film. As a comedianne Fia plays fab venues in both New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Don’t Tell Mama’s, Carolines, Stand -Up New York, Gotham Comedy Club, The Improv, The Hudson Theatre, The Lillian, The Comedy Store, The Green Room, P.S. 122, Joe’s Pub at The Public Theatre and The Ice House to name a few. She has appeared on CNBC doing her stand- up and arsenal of characters, HBO’s " Habla", Showtime’s " My First Time" as well as recently filming the hysterical feature film
" CARTS" out soon with " Mad TV’s" Mo Williams and action star Denise Hayden. Her short film " What The Feng?" with Marla Schultz made a big splash at the New York Comedy Festival. Fia Has shot several pod casts of her comedy for " Comedy Time" and The Blue Room AND NATIONAL LAMOOON RADIO! Look for Fia in the upcoming Feature film " Crossing Over" as Allison Jones, one of the nicer Detention Officers that you might meet! It stars Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta and many other great actors and is beautifully written and directed by the very talented " Wayne Kramer" ( The Cooler) Wayne’s one of the coolest directors that I have worked with. Comedy, I love characters! Hiking, exercising a lot so my butt won't keep growing. I love reading The New Yorker, great books, going to concerts, traveling when you have gotten a shoe horn large enough to get me out of my " routine" here in Los Angeles. I love accents, experiencing, different cultures and eating out at different restaurants. I am an animal activist and am working with HSUS to end the Canadian Harp Seal hunt when I'm not making people laugh.
