About INARCADIA

Et in Arcadia ego - a phrase, which is taken from a Greek legend where it was used as a grave inscription to remind people that although everything seems to be great, things like sorrow and death also exist. The band was pretty impressed by the legend's philosophy and so they decided to name themselves after it...

INARCADIA - founded in early 2007 by five hardcore passionate friends, who would like to act out their greatest passion in their lives - music - loud and heavy. Since this moment they're working ambitiously on new songs in order to express their emotions and beliefs.

Delivering an explosive mixture of fast, melodic and modern metal combined with crushing hardcore rhythms, Inarcadia delights with a passionate and dynamic stage performance. This raw energy aligned with powerful and intense hardcore music is a big character of the band.

After a year of ambitous work and trying to find their own style and attitude the band saw itself at a point where some major decisions had to be made. They changed the lineup in July 08 and the process of songwriting was taken to the next level and was planed to be done in a more efficient way to achieve the goals and ideas the band set to itself.

Inarcadia already shared the stage with ARCHITECTS - WALLS OF JERICHO - BANE - MISERY SIGNALS - THE RED CHORD - HAVE HEART - EMMURE - AUGUST BURNS RED - RISE AND FALL - WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH - NECROPHAGIST - BURNING SKIES - HORSE THE BAND - SHIPWRECK AD - OBITUARY - NEAERA - FEAR MY THOUGHTS and more.

Já podem escutar o revisitado tema "BAR DA GNR", tema nº 2 do EP e que precede às "GUITARRAS DE GUERRA". Este tema já com alguns anitos lavou a cara e foi gravado no inicio de 2009 com novos arranjos, mantendo no entanto todo o carisma que vez dele um dos hinos dos ERVAS DANINHAS. Durante 20 dias, mais ou menos, vão poder entrar no "BAR DA GNR" e buer uma cervejola e morfar uma entremeada e até mesmo apanhar uma carraspana sem ficarem de cana... Dêm gás no volume e acordem os vizinhos... pelo menos aqueles que dormem a sesta ao Domingo à tarde. O "BAR DA GNR" contou com a presença de dois convidados muito especiais, foram eles o Igor e o Arroja dos SHIVERS, que por entre copos de binho e assaltos à sacristia ainda tiveram tempo para uma ida à Sela... ops, desculpem o erro... uma ida à cela.
