Incentive Music Publishing has been in existence for around 4 years and in that time has built up a catalogue of several hundred works mainly in the dance based sector. Incentive Music Publishing is run by Nick Halkes who originally launched and ran both XL recordings and Positiva.
Incentive Music Publishing is happy to co-publish several cuts on The Prodigy's global smash album 'Invaders Must Die' (with these springing both from co-writing and the sampling of a classic). Other contemporary works include A-Trak’s share on the collaboration between him and Armand Van Helden on the recent top 20 hit ‘aNYway’ by Ducksauce and the forthcoming release from Adam F and Horx feat Redman ‘Shut The Lights Off’ on which the Caspa mix has recently been crowned ‘hottest record in the world' by Zane Lowe. Incentive Music Publishing are also proud to publish DJ Mujava's seminal Warp release 'Township Funk', Berlin's hottest club record of 2008 - Ronald Christoph's 'Underground Limbo' and the Annie Mac supported 'Frontline' by Princess Nyah, arguably the definitive record of the UK funky scene.
Joining those tracks is Sash! featuring Stunt’s UK top ten smash ‘Raindrops (Encore une Fois)’, with a lyric and melody penned by Incentive writers Dave Valler and Molly Smitten-Downes, and “We Should Fall In Love” by Swedish act L.O.V.E. ft. Malin Elino, which was synched in the film ‘I Want Candy’ starring Carmen Electra. Incentive Music Publishing also represent classic hardcore label Kniteforce for their publishing catalogue and leading French label Serial Recordings for the UK and Eire, whose catalogue includes works by such house luminaries as D'Julz, Didier Sinclair and Arno Cost & Arias including 'Magenta' and the rock solid 'Apocalypse' on CR2 ,both of which have received strong Pete Tong endorsement.
Songs that Incentive Music Publishing also co-publish include works by Eurovision nominee Daz Sampson, Taka Boom’s share of her hit top 10 hit with Joey Negro ‘Make A Move On Me’(the 4th most played record on Radio One in 2006), Reflekt - ‘Need To Feel Loved’ (successfully synched as the theme tune to the film ‘It’s All Gone Pete Tong’), DT8 – ‘The Sun Is Shining Down On Me’(Top 20 UK and featured in a major AD synch in Australia), The Lost Brothers – ‘Cry Little Sister’ (another heavily Radio One supported UK hit), the 1989 classic ‘Take Me Away’ by True Faith (since covered by Haji and Emanuel and production team Major Players signed to All Around The World) and the ‘Electrifying’ album by Candee Jay from where her hits ‘If I Were You’ and ‘Back For Me’ are taken.
