The weird way people sing things, including: The way Los Campesinos say the word "now" The way Conor Oberst says the words "orange" and "mirror"
The band are born from singer-songwriter Christopher's bedroom demos, written under the influence of Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes and above all Elliott Smith, after a few gigs he noticed the incredible difference between the potential of the demos and the live experience and set out to change that by recruiting the Forget Me Nots.
Pianos, guitars, strings, glokenspiels, boy/girl vocals, whatever we can get hold of all provide a canvas for tales Marjorie Weinman Sharmat would be proud of. Maybe.
The primary aim is to make folk smile and inspire. We tell stories, we want people to see with their eyes closed.
