When I was young my favorites were Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and Kenneth Grahm's "Wind In The Willows".
In Jr High my favorites were "Cather in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger, "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass, and others such as "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" "Go Ask Alice", etc.
In High School I was reading alot...books about quantum physics such as "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" and "Chaos Theory" also dark fiction like "The Bachman Books" By Richard Bachman(Stephen King), All Edgar Alan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft. William S. Burroughs life story is better than his fiction. Just Finished Here, There, and Everywhere by Geoff Emerick. Case For Christ by Leo Strobel. Lovecraft. Poe. The Romantics; Poetry, Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Also just finished The Scarlet Citadel and Red Nails by Robert E Howard...
