   Jordan's Blurbs
About me:
I'm a twenty two years old living in Montgomery county Maryland and have earned my degree in printing technology. I've lived at my present location since June 02, 2004 and have been and currently living a very enjoyable life. My main loves/friends are at work, in the local area and on the Björk 4UM, which is the main reason I've joined myspace. I'm Tibetan Buddhist and very dedicated to the Dharma and studying under my percious teacher The Venerable Tulku Nyima Gyaltsen Rinpoche whom I love very, very much. I'm all over the board with moods and emotions but I try to live and go through life with a kind heart and improve everyday. I enjoy making meaningful connections with people and just talking and getting to know and enjoying the many people and places I meet. :)
Who I'd like to meet:
Björk along with her husband artist Matthew Barney. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin, P.J. Harvey, Tori Amos, Emiliana Torrini, All my 4UM friends, The members of the band: incubus, rage against the machine, sigur ròs, smashing pumpkins, sonic youth, and radiohead. Also any one who takes the time to read this - thanks!

The greatest achievement is selflessness.
The greatest worth is self-mastery.
The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
The greatest precept is continual awareness.
The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything.
The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways.
The greatest magic is transmuting the passions.
The greatest generosity is non-attachment.
The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind.
The greatest patience is humility.
The greatest effort is not concerned with results.
The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go.
The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances.
Atisha

This existance of ours is as transient as autumn clouds.
To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance.
A lifetime is like a flash of lightning in the sky.
Rushing by, like a torrent down a steep mountain.

“An analogy for bodhichitta is the rawness of a broken heart. Sometimes this broken heart gives birth to anxiety and panic, sometimes to anger, resentment, and blame. But under the hardness of that armor there is the tenderness of genuine sadness. This is our link with all those who have ever loved. This genuine heart of sadness can teach us great compassion. It can humble us when we’re arrogant and soften us when we are unkind. It awakens us when we prefer to sleep and pierces through our indifference. This continual ache of the heart is a blessing that when accepted fully can be shared with all.
