"'Slaves' from In Darklight is an indie song with flickers of The Bluetones and Delays in their sound. This is a great song, especially considering the fact that it's a flip-side, taken from their recent single 'Head Rush'. This is one band that have come a long way since they started out." - The Mag
"A vibrant splash of alternative rock and look set to make waves on the southern rock scene...Energised vocals...Tight and expressive unit...A musical maturity that belies their youth. Very promising." - Musicians' Union
"Love the shimmering intro and - important note - the dryness of the vocal keeps the warm mire of sound in perfect check. An important, and simple lesson, many of our other demo entries could learn from. That said, it's a great tune and your complex arrangement and mix are spot on." - Future Music 'Demo of the Month' for Head Rush (L.S. Remix)
"The energy of Britpop with the big sound of Shoegaze...Lots of changes and dynamics, some great hooks too. Catchy songs with a big sound. There's a lot to like here, keep at it - you deserve to be heard!" - Wedgewood Rooms
"Special attention must be paid to the inventive drumming of Louis Sellers. And they're from Andover." - Math Priest, Rhythm Magazine
"If the Stone Roses were to reunite and update their sound a good tad, they would (hopefully) sound like this!!! Lots of Kasabianesque experimental elements but the 90's Brit pop and Happy Mondays are bound to be influences here…" - The Dublin Castle, London
"In Darklight are a young band with a powerful eerie sound and a lot of talent." - Room Thirteen 11/13
