From the early 50s,60s,70s,sound to old school Hip-Hop to todays hip hop. But music must have passion and a true meaning behind it,not just some rubbish written up for the sake of it.
Sounds Like
Our own unique sound heart felt Hip-Hop and rhymes, with a pure Australian vibe.
For us music is a lifestyle If we’re not feeling the vibe or the lyrics then it's nothing but dribble, we would rather listen to the Wiggles if that's the case.
We met at Niddrie Secondary Tech at the start of 1998, we never really had the same opinions and never really got along at first. But Fluke noticed at school during classes that Aziak would freestyle. Fluke remembers other students laughing at Aziak for his outbursts of freestlyling.
Then Aussie Hip-Hop or Hip-Hop in general at Niddrie wasn’t really listened to, it was bands more like heavy metal or a rock/punk band. About a year later Fluke was expelled from Niddrie and sent to Kensington Community High. At Kensington the people were there for reasons of their own, and other serious issues. Fluke felt at the time that he could blend in, because he was having issues of his own. The one thing that he loved about Kensington community was that there was never the popular guy or girl everyone had respect for each other and that’s how it was.
A lot of the people at Ken. Had a massive passion for Hip-Hop. You knew what they were saying was real it was coming from the heart. A year after being at Ken when school started up again Fluke saw Aziak there Fluke asked Aziak what he was doing there, the same as you mate I can’t keep my head on straight for the right reasons. They become good friends because at Niddrie Fluke was only there for a short time to know Aziak.
About two years later Fluke was expelled from Ken Community, Fluke and Aziak stayed in touch It was 2 years later when Fluke was put on probation for assault on a police officer that he was put in a program called Living Music. That’s when Fluke met John favoro john ran Living Music along with Andrew McSweeney, John told Fluke the first time that they met that recording was for free and every Wednesday they met for about 4-6 hours and began producing tracks. Fluke called Aziak and told him that he had hooked up studio time through getting in shit and put on a order (ha ha what a win).
Before living music started they were at Aziak's house writing rhymes just waiting for a studio to start there project in. The first Wednesday with John, Fluke took Aziak and they started recording. We have had many ups and downs and personal demons on the way but never let it come between us and our passion for music.
Big thanks to John favoro and Andrew McSweeney for giving us a head start and showing us the true meaning to music thanks lads.
