Indefinate Etticate consists of three members: Ken Houston, who produces the majority of the beats used on the albums, Dj Solo, who also produces beats along with scratching and mixing samples over the songs and also performs live at all shows. Last but not least, Odyssey, who writes and performs all vocals. We are alaskas "premier" hip hop group.
We have had several songs used for extreme sports movies over the years including: Lipstick Films "since we last spoke", Turnagain Hardcore "H.I.P." AKfreestyle, Arctic attack"thawed out", Frontier films " 2stroke cold smoke", Sled Porn 2, and a few more small budget films. I am currently working again with Lipstick films on there new movie, Arctic Attack on there new movie and also two different snowmachine movie producers out of new york including "High Side Films". I love working with these guys because of the audience it reaches. Coming from Alaska, a lot of our fans our riders of all sorts. We've done many shows at the "Alyeska Prince Hotel" in Girdwood, AK which is a world class ski resort and many outdoor events including: Huck Fest, slush cup, Ak freestyle, the Summer Meltdown (AK SOUL), and many more. I have performed all over Alaska on a regular basis for the past 5-6 years. We have also traveled to Canada, colorado, new york, california and nevada to perform. We currently do all of our own promotion including: flyers,posters, shirts, hoodies, stickers, bookings..pretty much anything and everything is done by us. I only say this to show how dedicated and driven we are to succeed.
Performed well more than a hundred shows...rocked every venue in Alaska deemed worthy of some real hip hop kids! We currently are working on two different tours in 09, the first one all alaska dates and the second one west coast/midwest! born march 1979 in anchorage, alaska. i've been involved in music most of my life, whether it be playing guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, and samplers, i've always loved music.my influences are mostly old school hip hop artists such as black sheep, tribe called quest, old hiero, gang starr...... my production influences are prince paul, rza, dj premier, and dan the automater. jazz is also a major influence in what i produce: artists like oliver sain, miles davis, and andrew white.have been a member in indefinate etticate for about 4 years doing almost all the production, and have worked with other local artists like phonetic, and soiled seed
