Arriva finalmente a Milano un nuovo grande festival rock.
I-DAY MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL – che sulla scia delle otto edizioni bolognesi dello storico Independent Days, si trasferisce nel capoluogo Lombardo e presenta un nuovo marchio, nuovi contenuti, e soprattutto una nuova location, allestita nell’area della Fiera Milano Rho, centro nevralgico dello sviluppo futuro della città. Un’arena concerti, facile da raggiungere grazie alla metropolitana, la ferrovia, il collegamento autostradale ed i parcheggi. Il luogo ideale per quello che si annuncia come il più importante festival rock del 2009 in Italia.
Headliner dell’ I-DAY MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL sono gli Oasis, che torneranno ad esibirsi nel nostro paese per un unico ed esclusivo concerto, dopo il trionfale tour mondiale e le 5 date in Italia, tutte sold out.
Non saranno solo gli Oasis i grandi protagonisti del festival.
Tra le band oggi confermate ci sono i The Kooks ed i Kasabian, due tra le realtà musicali più importanti della scena brit.
Se i The Kooks hanno recentemente pubblicato il loro secondo album Konk (Virgin/EMI) presentato a Milano lo scorso aprile in un concerto completamente esaurito, i Kasabian ritornano in Italia dopo qualche anno con quello che è uno dei dischi più attesi da pubblico e critica nel 2009. La band inglese presenterà dal vivo i brani di West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (Columbia/Sony-BMG) la cui uscita in tutto il mondo è prevista per l’8 giugno.

Finally a new big rock festival comes to Milano!
After eight editions of the historical Independent Days, the renewed I-DAY moves location to become the MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL, not only a new location, but a new brand and new contents.
I-DAY MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL will be staged in the ARENA of the spectacular new exhibition centre of Milano, the heart of the cities new development.
Concert Arena is easy to reach by public transport, whether by undergound or rail, the area is directly linked to the motorway and there are ample parking facilities.
The ideal location for an urban rock festival.
Oasis will be headlining the I-DAY MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL - 30th August 2009.
They will be back to play an exclusive summer festival date in Italy after the triumphant world tour and 5 italian winter dates, all sold-out.
Other confirmed acts appearing at the I-DAY MILANO URBAN FESTIVAL are The Kooks and Kasabian, two of most appreciated names in the British music scene. The Kooks have recently published Konk (Virgin/EMI) their second release showcased in Milano with a sold-out live.
