So, on Aug. 1st 2008, the IRB's ELV's (Experimental Law Variations) went into effect, making these new variations applicable to all of us who play rugby whether on a club, collegiate, or national level.
The following video from the IRB explains in very decent detail how the ELV's work. The problem is... We didn't need any variation to the laws already on the books. Nevertheless, we have to play by them, so here they are. And remember: SATURDAY'S A RUGBY DAY!!!
