I grew up in Eugene and moved up to Portland about two years ago. I started playing guitar about 8 years ago when I was 18, haven't been able to put it down since. Along the way I've picked up a few other instruments but I always come back to the guitar. I wouldn't say that I'm attracted to any specific style but acoustic music is what I do when the days over. I Played in a rock band called Outspent in Eugene for about three years before meeting Keri Harrold. Keri and I have a great time writing together and clicked from the start. Our passion for blues and soulful, yet gritty sounds, definitely make us a good match. Keri takes care of the vocals in an amazing manner. She has a great ear and powerful lungs to go along with a very soft tone and incredible rhythm. We hope to keep writing, recording, and hopefully soon start playing out. On my own, with my lack of vocal talent, I like to record sloppy instrumentals and play them as fast as I possibly can.
Jared! happy birthday! hope you're doing well. we should catch up sometime, i'm planning on meeting up with keri and che this week. love to see you too
titanium shoulder?!! sweet. I'm enjoying the new songs. I agree, you have a great voice, better than 90% of the folk singers out there. wanted to write you a message but it wasn't working.
hi! It's been awhile, how are you doing? Are you living in Portland or Eugene these days? I'm doing well here. I am having a great time and enjoying this crazy experience. Couldn't ask for more. Anyway, I'd love to hear what you're up to. :)
Jared.... if you get this before you leave... I am going to bed and it is 5 am... so I will probably sleep in.... no need to rush up here... can't wait to see you!! I turned my phone off, but you have keys if you get here early.
hey Jared, how's it going? I bet you are glad that Che is home. What's new with you? Are you in Portland or Eugene these days? I'm having a crazy time here in Cambodia, not totally sure what I'm doing...
