I love traveling. I genuinely wish I could do more of it. I've got an insatiable sense of adventure. I like to explore. I'm known for taking day trips to Boston. Every now and then, I need to get away from everything I know just to remind myself things aren't always this way.
I have a very small family. Meaning, in reality, that I actually have a decent amount of family, but they don't talk to me. The few people I do have, though, are everything to me.
I am dangerously overprotective of my friends, strictly because they are few and far between. You've never seen my temper until you've done something questionable to one of my friends. Lately, I've truly realized who these people are. I could never ask for anything more.
I work too much, but I know I need to. I don't sleep enough, but I get by. I think too much, but who doesn't?
Mostly, I'm a complete loser that manages to get by on a sub-par dry wit and a painful knowledge of the world around me.

Music keeps me sane. It's not necessarily doing its job too well, but I haven't killed anyone yet, so I'll still accept it.
I listen to a little of everything. If I like it, I listen to it. If I can dance to it, I probably like it.
I don't play as much as I used to, but I love everything about playing.
I'll find you about thirty times more attractive if you have rhythm. Just throwing that out there.
But really...genre doesn't matter. What matters is that it doesn't suck. I'll probably enjoy it.

Anything I can laugh at. Movies are escapism at its finest.
Lately, my addiction has been awful horror movies. Just the combination of the "Acting," the terrible plot, the special effects...my god, you can't go wrong.
I love anything that is obviously not reality. I don't watch movies to be sappy and cry. I watch movies to forget why I should be sappy and cry.

I don't watch nearly enough television to dedicate an entire section to it. The occasional episode of House. Baseball games when I can.
I tend to watch the people around me. You get more entertainment. Sit and watch two people having a conversation. If they're animated enough, you can come up with the best stories about them in your head.
This is the adult way of me saying, "I like to go out and use my imagination." And yes, thank you, I do still color as well.

I need to read more. I love reading.
Salinger is damn near deity status. The Catcher In The Rye..if you can't relate to that book, you never grew up. Hell, my cat's name is Zooey. I'm a bit of a Salinger fan.
Anything borne of the Beat Generation. Kerouac, Kesey, Burroughs, Cassady...etc., is probably not only in my collection, but partially memorized.
A recent addiction has been Hunter S. Thompson. That man is insane. I love him so.
Tucker Max, even as a woman, is hilarious. Christopher Moore writes about vampires and doesn't make it a stupid love story - good man.
And I won't lie. I adore Max Brooks. After reading his books, I can probably tell you more about zombies than you want to know. Like I said, I'm a loser.
Suggest something to me. Please. I'll try anything once. I love to read. I love anything I can relate to, or anything I can convince myself I can relate to. Books are the opposite of movies to me...reading, I tend to reflect internally.
Give me more to read.
