Formed in 2004 in Oakland, California, Index:A is vocalist Seth Heitzmann, bassist Scott Proctor, guitarist Eric Warner, and drummer Phil Hodges. The band combines seasoned musicianship with a fresh take on the rock genre. No gimmicks, nothing retro instead, Index:A offers tightly executed, melody-driven songs fueled by a compelling, modern energy.
Their CD, Collected and Reassembled, engineered by Damon DeMers collects cuts like Razor and Carefully Handwritten. All of the songs exemplify the bands uncanny ability to access that place in your brain where truly great songs stick.
