Sounds Like
David Allan Coe meets Ray Charles and Muddy Waters in a diner, when in walks John Sebastian with Lennon and McCartney. JJ Cale calls and asks if Loggins and Messina are there yet. Lo and behold, Eric Burdon is just ending his shift on the wait staff and joins them all in the big booth at the back, where the conversation drifts to how cool it would be if there were only some WOODY music on the juke box.
WOODY is the name for the group comprised of Bill Payne, Al Coffey and Sonny Campbell. Amongst them, they have over 90 years of stage experience in large and small venues. Together since 2000, their concerts are usually standing-room only due to their high energy, repertoire, and an uncanny connection with their audience.
