I was born in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England- My mother began having me in Hadleigh Castle- that way I'd be a princess (!). My father played piano in a rhythm and blues band in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis. Mum relocated us to Australia when I was four- she became a model and we moved all over the place- we even hiked a lift over the Nullabor of Australia (complete desert). We lived in tents by the ocean and moved often. When we lived in a hotel opposite Bondi Beach in Sydney we sang (with my sister Saffron) in the bath tub and learned all the songs from an easy guitar book (Eagles etc.) an octave higher than the actual key. We'd sing all the songs my mother taught us, "Where have all the flowers Gone" and "Sing Haleluja to the Lord". We had no radio and no tv so I knew nothing about current music- just the few tapes my mum played on a battery operated tape player like Joni Mitchell's Blue Album and Blondie.
At 15 I won a competition on TV for singing and a model agency "Elite" called. I joined them, made excellent money and moved to California at 17. I flew to London to surprise my Father who I had not seen since I was four and we began writing songs together. I then went to UCLA to study acting and film and graduated with a BA. Then off to London to sing! I sang every Sunday in a London bar (with my Dad sometimes joining me on piano) and got a good following- I then met Nick Heyward and we made an album together called The Mermaid and the Lighthouse Keeper. The style was ethereal, melodic, and beautiful.
I couldn't handle another FREEZING winter so I moved back to California. I did a few gigs locally and also sang on Rocco Deluca's new album I Trust You to Kill Me and performed live with him around Los Angeles.
I did a series for VH1 called Home James which is out all over Europe.
I love writing songs, singing songs and singing on other musicians' records. I want to record a solo album and hear The Mermaid and The Lighthouse Keeper songs in gorgeous films... This is the link to buy the album on ITUNES!

Only a few times a year will a new song haunt us day and night, night and day..but your beautiful one, we went to sleep hearing it, knowing all the words ( sure sign of grt lyric writing :-). One can believe you were mean't to do this and just can't help feeling based on the merits of the truth and fact telling emotion it conveys through your very pretty and childlike voice, every other Michael Jackson fan will love the meaning of 'Stay' too. Respect goes as much hand in hand for the video. The best tribute song I have heard, or will ever.
Thank you for your sweet mail!!! Couldn't believe that Santorini is two years ago.. crazy! But yes, a lot of things happened meanwhile.. And I love these portraits of you so much..still. Sometimes it needs time to see or to see again : )) Kisses
OF COURSE, I SEND THEM IN A MAIL AS WELL, I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH! THOUGHT OF YOU A HUNDRED TIMES, JUST CAME BACK FROM A SMALL ISLAND IN DENMARK, THE NEXT TWO WEEKS I'M IN BERLIN, SOME NICE PROJECTS TO WORK ON AND THE HEAD FULL OF IDEAS : )) BLACKBERRYKISSES
Thank you so much for finding me! How wonderful that your mother sent you my CD, and that you alerted me to your music because of that, so I could hear the beauty of it, also!! “Please see me” is wonderful; it actually expresses my own sentiments as of late :} You are truly Divine; thank you for the connection <:D
