About me:
About me... mmm... I guess if we start with my folks you'll get a pretty good idea of who I am and where I get all this 'me' from...
My dad Pip is a musician and my mum is an artist and creative dance teacher. I inherited most things from my parents, besides my mums visual art skills and dads daggy humor. Wait... actually I did inherit that too...
I am a Melbourne based actor and muso... I also dance. It's actually my favourite thing to do. Just put on some music and move. This is when I feel most like me.
I play the violin. The instrument I grew up with and studied and loved and hated at the same time. I also play flute, clarinet, piano and I am starting to tinker in the guitar...
I have just recently decided to take a break from music, after my band Lamplight recently came to an end. The only music I am really doing at the moment is a little jazz trio called 'Three Piece Sweet' and some solo singer song writer stuff, which at the present moment is for my bedroom...
I am working on a play at the moment that will be on as a part of the La Mama Explorations spring season. It's called Entanglement 17th,18th and 19th of December 09. I am loving getting back into theatre after so many years of neglect and distraction with the romantic life of a musician...
I am working in melbourne to save up for some travels next year and a chance to do some studies in Bali, Japan and India of dance and music. Big dreams.
