The line-up of Indian Ink was completed in March 2006 when guitarists Dave Musson and James Hammond joined forces with bassist Henry Herby Pollock, and drummer Simeon Care.
Drawing direct influence from bands such as Tool, A Perfect Circle, Placebo, Deftones, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Led Zeppelin, Indian Ink's music is a quite unique form of progressive, heavy rock. Instead of opting for the showboating often found with other progressive bands, each of Indian Inks songs is held together by a central musical theme. This means that the bands music still has a solid structure behind it allowing for definite verses and catchy choruses as well as showcasing the groups highly skilled musicianship.
Guitarist Dave Musson said "This is the most exciting project that any of us have ever been part of, and we cant wait to show off our work. Our music is different to a lot of other bands out there, but the result is still something that you can sing along to and enjoy. We just hope that other people can take the same sort of pleasure out of our music as we do".
