Christmas time is here once again, and it is time again to bring in the New Year. We wish the merriest of Christmas to you and your loved ones, and we wish you happiness and prosperity in the year ahead.
The first Howling Hex record to be released on a label other than Drag City. Four tracks penned by Neil Hagerty, the rest of the total twelve by a variety of unknown collaborators - all produced by Hagerty, all weird and incredible. There's bits of bizarre sound art, broken poetry, a coulda-been-a-90s-dance-anthem, rock songs, a ballad, and tons of sweet guitar playing. The title track alone is worth the price of the record, with its haunting, counter-melodic, phasing synth and guitar arrangement.
