Established in 2007 in Brooklyn, New York (having incubated for years in Athens, Ohio), Indianola is a creative partnership that specializes in the dissemination of sonorous compositions via both live and recorded platforms. Founding members John Atzberger and Patrick Bourland converged musically not by compromising their differing styles, but by finding a vector within which both styles could exist cooperatively. The product, they hope, will infuse the staid mechanisms of folk with much needed newness, and will infiltrate fortunate listeners' ears with the sounds of the beginning of the post-folk movement, devotees unified, screaming ("Go folk yourselves!"), marching toward the future of music.

John, I hope that you are still cool when you get back from Memphis. I am scared that the ghost of Elvis and Johnny Cash will posess you and Drew, you will be too cool for me, and I will no longer have cool friends...or a boyfriend. This would be a whole lot of lame.
Best of Luck with the ghost thing.... P.S the whole point of this was to tell yuo that my Momma can get you tickets to Graceland that are VIP so you don't have to stand in line!
