I|R|L is an idea conceived from everything and nothing at all. We make electronic/rock/dance/alternative/indie music and want to make you dance with conviction. We are trying to combine our music with visuals to create a live experience that will excite both yer een and yer lugs(eyes and ears)!
In a live capacity, including things that excite them; artwork on lightboxes, projected images and visual treats, I|R|L try their very hardest to engage. And engage they will.

'...Visions of Utopia are what IRL hope to induce. I feel that this EP is a musical Utopia. I feel some way transported to some ideal place. ‘Castles Incomplete’ is a visionary system of ideas that I simply love.' Glasgow PodcART June 2009
'Produced by the Fence Collective's On The Fly, in what few reviews the EP has had there have already been comparisons to the solo work of Thom Yorke. Straight from the off with opener 'Ropes' - already one of the finest songs of this year - you'll have your mind haunted by the voice of singer Michael Chang. It's backed up by great tunes, clever lyrics and top class musicianship.' The Scotsman Under The Radar September 2009

Hey there, Here's one from left field... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible. Help to raise awareness. Say have you checked out my web site (www.faberoptime.com) recently? Take care and keep in touch. Best, Faber. "Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."

A
4 track EP, titled Call Signs, it provides the perfect introduction to
the band prior to the release of their debut album, Grappling Hooks, in
early 2010.
