The first time I heard this phrase, I had no idea what God was about to do. The request boomed from this Indian man's deep voice. Rev. Dr. Santhosh Desabattula awaited my response with a smile in his eyes. There, at that pastor's conference, God melded two hearts and two nations all in a sovereign moment that will never be forgotten. My answer is "India's Child."
India's Child is a missions ministry of The Valley Church that was created to both serve existing churches in India, and to reach their unsaved friends. It is our purpose to use the strengths & resources of our Western churches to bless the nation of India with the gospel. This will all be accomplished through our strong relationship with Santhosh Desabattula, a native church planter that now oversees 282 churches, 2 Bible Schools, 12 Sewing Training Institutes, 6 Orphanages and 2 Health Clinics.
The name "India's Child" represents the future generations of God's children in India. We believe that there is great opportunity right now for God to do great miracles in the people of this nation through our short term missions trips. We, India's Child, offer you the same commission that Santosh gave us:
