About me:
The Columbus Independent Art Capital vision unifies and promotes all aspects of the Arts in Columbus, Ohio. It emphasizes the spirit and business of art making at all levels and in all disciplines and media- from dance to film, from visual arts to literature, from animation to advertising, and every creative endeavor in between.
This movement is fueled by and exists to support the exchange of ideas, attraction of speakers and art makers from around the world, and celebration of the rich Arts culture tradition of Columbus. The 2008 Independent Arts Conference will attract panelists, artists, film makers, musicians, designers, and more.
We envisage this movement and related event as our bridge to the rest of the world to demonstrate our existing vibrant Arts scene, attract business and economic investment, foster and incubate ideas and innovations, and to contribute to the growth of our city.
