Indie A To Z is the offspring of Collected Collectives, a specialty show featuring a different music collective each week--hosted this past summer 11pm-1am by Jonathon Humphrey and Chris Boyette. Starting this semester, Jonathon and Chris will be joined by Raul Clement for a new specialty show in the same spirit. Like Collected Collectives, Indie A To Z attempts to introduce an eclectic mix of music--from indie hip-hop to post-punk to psychedelic pop to noise folk--making quality music available to those who might not otherwise hear it. Each week will feature bands of a different letter of the alphabet, starting with "A" and working our way down the line. This website will be dedicated to any requests for upcoming shows or communications our listeners wish to make with us.

DJ of the Week: - Each week we recognize a DJ that has gone above and beyond just their regular radio show This pair of DJ's came on strong this Summer and they haven't shown any signs of slowing down. Chris Boyette and Jonathan Humphrey host the always fun alphabet show entitled "Indie A-Z" every Friday night from 11pm - 1 am. On this show the guys dedicate a letter of the alphabet to the entire show. Tonight I believe it is the letter D. So they will be playing great "indie" acts that begin with the letter D. They don't just play indie rock but cover it all from Hip Hop to Electronic to everything else in between. In addition to this really fun show they recently set up a myspace page for their show. They are now in WUAG's Top 8. Also, Chris is very active in helping with the great "Voices For New North Carolinians" immigration show airing on Sunday October 12th from 7-8pm. Chris is trying to organize students in the School of Music to record a theme song for the show.
yo i got sound on my computer now so i gotta check out the show this week...i read the previuos shows sets and i dig, although i might have chose diffrent songs, but i guess anyone with an musical opinion would...when you get to H may I recommend the hilltop hoods...theyre an Aussie rap group whom I, not being a huge hip-hop fan, thoroughly enjoy
