Yes, Virginia! You can follow your passion and make a living! My husband and I are living proof. We got married in 2000, five months after I started our business. I left a career as a corporate attorney in 2001 to be at home with our daughter and work the business full-time. My husband was laid off his job as a video cameraman in 2004.
