After several years of experience in the Norwegian music industry – involving working for record companies, working in record stores, running in-house labels, mail-order companies, magazines and organizing concerts and tours – INDIE Distribution have decided to change the way of running a distribution company for music, and music related items, in Norway – leaving their representative companies to set up a new improved and more focused distribution company in the territory of Norway. They decided to break out and form this new company, were we all can work with music we are passionate about, and be specialists in what we can do best.
We also wanted to find ways to improve the presentation, marketing, promotion and availability. The staff at INDIE Distribution is selectively handpicked, knowing that interest in the music we will be handling, as well as the correct motivation, is essential to make this firm the great success that we believe it will be.
