Bands Guilty Warfare
It all started three years ago in Penketh High School and here they are, Guilty Warfare, a pop-punk four piece featuring: Matt Harland on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Daz Viles on lead guitar and backing vocals, James Astley on bass guitar and Tom Jordan on drums. Guilty Warfare have been writing their own materiel and performing across a number of high profile venues including: The Liverpool Barfly, Warrington Parr Hall and the world famous Cavern Club. Guilty Warfare got their first taste of studio time in 2007 and have recently finished writing the new album "Take Aim" to be recorded and released in 2008. ‘Breathe’ the track featured on Indie fire Records compilation CD is a wonderful blend of clever melody lines and sweet acoustic guitar work. Looks like a big future lies ahead for these guys and we wish them every success as they aim to set the music business alight!

Polaris
As young musicians John Sinnott, Michael Crane and Jay Hughes formed the band while studying music at Riverside College Halton.
They have been together as a band for over 7 years and have performed at venues across the UK including Liverpool’s world famous ‘Cavern Club’ and southern rock venue ‘The Dublin Castle’ in Camden town, London.
In 2006 they won the prestigious battle of the bands competition The Chicago Rock Academy ‘Best Band in the Northwest’.

Solo Artists Zoё
Zoe started her training in 1994 with the highly reputable Sheila Gott whose client list includes Robbie Williams and Lisa Stansfield. She has worked as a session singer and fronted bands covering everything from Rock and Roll, RnB, Soul and Musical Theatre, this variation in work has made her an incredibly versatile and gifted vocalist. Zoё injects her personality into every vocal performance. Working with her own band 847 heaven Zoё performs the song ‘Since you were mine’ on the debut CD From Indiefire Records.

Sinking Ships
Daniel Pye has been playing guitar and writing songs for a few years now, he is currently studying for his BTEC ND in Popular Music at Riverside College Halton. He is a talented songwriter and lists Bob Dylan and Nick Drake amongst his influences. One of Daniel’s latest songs ’Another Clown’ has been added to the Indie fire Records compilation 2008 release. It is a beautifully crafted piece of work and shows how the clever use of lyrics and musical progressions can bring a story to life. He is due to record his first solo album at the end of the year and this is will be supported by live shows across the country

Lisa Holles
Lisa Holles is a talented singer song writer from Runcorn and completed her BTEC ND in Popular Music at Riverside College in 2007. She says “without music I would be lost and sometimes I just get lost in my music”.
Lisa has had work previously released and the quality of her track “Too Deep” clearly shows why she has been creating such a buzz in the northwest.

Mark Wilson
Singer songwriter, Mark Wilson, has astounded Music Lovers the world over with his unique blend of percussive acoustic blues and folk coupled with an extraordinary voice. Variously compared to Nick Drake, Merlin and a tornado tearing up the fret board, Mark has performed more than 250 gigs in the last three years, including a standing ovation at Glastonbury Festival.

DJs The Askani
Dave Coates and Paul McGuinness a two piece dance music outfit from Liverpool who have been collectively Djing and producing tracks for about 10 years now, and are currently in their 2nd year of a BTEC ND Music Technology course at Riverside College, they describe their sound as fusion of house breaks and twisted technology and they are influenced by artists such as Switch James Lidell, Aphex Twin and past legends like Larry Levan, the track 'That Girl' features KC (aka) Gavin Smith on vocals. Gavin is a Riverside College year 1 student studying for a BTEC ND in Music Practise, He is influenced by artists such as Fundamental and Usher.
Blackblackgrey
BlackBlackGray aka Jordan Cookson's track ‘Hoodie’ Musically inspired by bands such as Radiohead, Muse and Chemical Brothers, and with wonderful support from his family Jordan first started making music with a program called Ejay- he got free with a box of cereal! He uses a laptop, Reason and a soundboard, to compose the songs, and then ‘Audacity’ to add samples and edit his work. He is currently a student at The Heath School in Runcorn.

Proklass
Influences vary from oldskool garage such as Wideboys to Ska artists The Specials. IDM producers Aphex Twin and Squarepusher are also of significant influence in the Pro Klass sound with a nod towards Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Minimal Techno and Hip-Hop. Pro Klass front man Septik has had experience ranging from local underground events to larger performances. His production can be heard on a number of tracks that have yet to be released including collaborations with credible underground Bass Line artists such as Naya and Submerse. On the horizon for the young producer is a spate of collaborations as well as original productions that are sure to destroy dance-floors from the UK to Ayia Napa!
