About me:
THE INDIE GARAGE is an offshoot of Upstart Filmworks, ramping up to become fully operational in the spring of 2007. Our mission statement is pretty much right there in the quote. We will provide affordable production (and even post-production) support for the low-budget moviemaker.
We are actual, serious, "for-real", working moviemakers, with equipment that has logged set-time on actual, serious, "for-real" movies. Over just the past few months, The Indie Garage has provided equipment for Witchcraft 13: Blood Of The Chosen, Closet Space, Necrophobia, The Flesh Keeper, Sway, Legion, Brushing Death, and several music video shoots and television shows.
The current equipment inventory is not super-extensive, but all of the above features have been shot with what is currently in stock. Side note: If you think you need a huge grip truck to make a successful picture, then I suggest you read Rebel Without A Crew. If you've already read it, then read it again, because you obviously didn't pay attention the first time. Additional equipment will also be arriving throughout the spring and summer of 2007, including more lighting packages, camera support, and HD camera packages, so keep checking back.
We're not a huge corporation...actually, we're kind of a ghetto outfit, but we are here to help you make your movie simply, cost-effectively, AND professionally.

Sony DSR-11 DVCAM player/recorder
Sony Field Monitor (3 channel, S-Video/RCA)
Audio-Technica shotgun mic
