So many women artists are writing our office and wanting to take part in the many event opportunities that we are working hard to create. You need to be a member of Indiegrrl Women in the Arts to take part in our organizations events. We have a networking group, sponsor discounts, a yearly conference, and showcases in venues along with events like Indiegrrl Fest that we are working to create in as many states as possible. It is all a continual building effort. The yearly membership fee of $30 helps us reach these goals and we try to keep that membership fee low because we know the shoe string budgets of Indie artists. Artists who perform in our shows get paid and split ticket sales. So if you are in one of our events, please do help us promote it with your fans/friends/family because it benefits everyone to have a packed house. AND it just makes things more fun when wild screaming fans are cheering for the performers.

Chili Cook Off Contest on Saturday. Bring your favorite recipe and ingredients and cook your award winning chili in the contest. Judging starts at 5:00pm. Judging will cover vegetarian and meat chili.

Something new for Indiegrrl Women in the Arts. We will be producing Festivals featuring some of the top Indiegrrl Women in our organization. Music, Comedy, Spoken Word, and more. We will be organizing these events in as many states as we can in the future. This is one of the many great projects that the Indiegrrl Women in the Arts organization is producing.
Kicking off these festival events is "Indiegrrl Fest GA" at Swiftwaters Campground in Dahlonega, GA on October 3 to 6, 2008. ADVANCE TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE FOR INDIEGRRL FEST GA. Visit www.indiegrrl.com for online payment options and to print out your festival registration form. Advance ticket purchases are recommended to HOLD a camping spot because camping is limited and will sale out and after that only Day Passes will be sold. PLUS save $10 by getting your tickets before September 20. Day Passes available for those that do not want to camp and want to stay in local area hotels or drive up for the day. Sorry guys this event is for women only as it takes place on a women's only campground, but some of the future festivals will be in places where everyone can attend.

Indiegrrl Fest Jonica Gap Campground is now confirmed for June 19, 20, 21, 2009. This event is for the entire family and a great time to plan your first family vacation with children getting out of school. We will have fun activities for all ages including some storytelling and music for children in the early afternoons followed by music and comedy everyone in the family will enjoy. Performers will be announced soon for this event.
