Indie Live Austin would like to the thank the interactive audiences who have responded to our networking attempts to help us expose and present great bands, art, and cultural experiences here in the Austin area. Your comments and suggestions, obtained from your response to shows seen on tv or web, have fueled the content of our shows.
We would like to take this moment to explain what make our show different from any other live music shows in the area or nation wide for that matter. And why we feel that we truly capture the independent spirit of 'the live music capital of the world'.
1) No pretty studios. We present our shows from the gritty venues that have been the backbone for this under appreciated industry. We truly document the 'live music' experience as it occurs in 'the live music capital of the world'.
2) No already famous bands. We don't kiss ass after a band is already super popular. We are there to support underexposed, struggling talent who, like us, are struggling to share thier gifted talents with the world, and obtain success in the end. Though this is an underground market, it is becoming viable and competetive in itself; for the audiences know what good is.
3) We not only present music, but we also present art, artist, performance art, cultural events, and social issues in our shows. We present a rounded view of Austin.
4) This show promotes Austin as a whole; as an oasis of talent and a city who is truly unpretentious in its artistic delivery. Indie Live Austin should be viewed in different cities of international proportions. It is a medium that can present what people have already heard of Austin. That it is bad ass.
