Madalyn Sklar is a music business coach & consultant, blogger, social networks expert and author. She has spent over 13 years working with a wide range of independent musicians as well as music industry professionals, helping them get focused and energized. Sklar's mission is to help people achieve greater success in the music business by working smarter not harder.

She has spoken on music panels all over the country and moderates many of them as well. She's been heard at 2NMC, Dewey Beach, Dfest, DIY Convention, Folk Alliance, Hyperactive Music Festival, Invasion of the GoGirls, Millennium Music Conference, NEMO, PLAY:stl, Rockrgrl and South Park Music Festival. She is also the founder of GoGirlsMusic.com, a unique organization that focuses on advancing the careers of independent female artists. Founded in early 1996, the organization works tirelessly to help artists through education, networking, and events.

And if that wasn't enough she runs Social Networks for Musicians, helping musicians and music businesses effectively create and manage their social networks.
