"...exploration is almost always discovery. Last thursday, about 50 people- all seeking to discover something about Boston's sonic landscape- stuffed themselves into the cozy confines of the Lily Pad on Cambridge Street. What they got was a musical exploration of Boston via Nashville, Brooklyn and Outer Space." - Cambridge Chronicle full article here
The Indie Music Collective (IMC), hosted by singer/songwriters Jennifer Greer and Jenn Taranto is held the third Thursday of every month at the Lily Pad in Cambridge from 7-10pm. Three bands playing 35 minute sets will be featured during each show, with a cover of $7 for the night.
The IMC series is an extended exploration of the independent music scene in Boston. Each show is a different chapter in a musical journey through Boston’s thriving music scene. While styles may vary, the musicians participating in the IMC are part of a broader community of artists who work hard to support and to promote each other’s shows. We expect that the IMC series will become a continuing fixture of the Boston independent music scene.
