Simply put we are a non profit organization for the advocacy of money going directly to cancer research.
We are also looking for people to get involved by organizing benefit concerts in your area. On this space we will play different artist songs that have helped us out with benefits in the past or for upcoming benefits and artists that have donated songs to our compilation CD as we find them on My Space and can add their song to our profile. Check back often for updates. But get involved now either by spreading the word, helping organize a benefit, becoming a sponsor for our benefits, or by making a donation. Our entity Indiegrrl is producing the 2009 Indiegrrl Women in the Arts Conference in Nashville, TN on August 20 to 23 at the luxurious Hotel Preston. Please plan on attending and networking with many industry professionals during the trade show exhibit hall, workshops, panel discussions, and the banquet dinner and social gathering. Keynote speakers for the banquet are very successful Indie Songwriters Karen E. Reynolds and David Llewellyn. It will be an exciting event. So plan on attending the conference to brush up on your entrepreneurial skills and to watch the live performance showcases on 5 stages featuring artists from Indiegrrl, Rockin' Moms, Nette Radio, MPress Records, Promo Productions and TryXo Entertainment. Conference passes are $125 and both females and males can attend.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interested in donating to or helping out with charitable events. Meeting other musicians/song writers/performers interested in raising money for cancer research. Meeting other cancer survivors and support groups.

EXPERIENCED piano / keyboard player or guitar player ( singing is a plus but not necessary) needed on New Year' s Eve at an upscale venue in Gainesville Ga. from 6 pm- 8:30 pm. You will need to perform older , class ic, jazz, and easy listening type tunes for a sophicated older crowd . This will take place during dinner.
Also looking for a musician or musicians who can perform classic older dance tunes for later in the night . Pay is good/ tips are fantastic!!!
