In the past, artists worked very hard touring small venues, making their own t-shirts, and carrying their own equipment, as they waited and hoped to get noticed by a major label who would sign them to a big record deal with massive success. However, this is not how the music industry works anymore. This possibility may happen for a very lucky few, but getting signed to a major label is no longer a necessity in today's indie music industry. In the music industry today, real success is all about getting your music to your audience and allowing them access to your talent. It has never been easier to do this with the availability and accessibility of social media and the Internet. However, the needed resources to assist you in establishing these opportunities is so vast nowadays. And this increased access for you as an artist, writer and musician also means increased access to potential audiences, for every other aspiring musician too. The competition has almost tripled over night! This also means groups and musicians who once signed with major labels, can also leave those labels behind and strike out on their own as well. For those of you who are still interested in a musical career, you must be willing to embrace these new changes, if you are to have any chance for success! Today, you must truly be independent, persistent and become the extremely savvy entrepreneurial artist, now more than ever, as long as you have the necessary tools, knowledge and resources to get you there! ***THIS IS WHERE "INDIE WORLD" COMES IN*** Black Mountain Productions has created a new global community network for: Artists, Writers and Musicians. We are assembling the best array of professional indie organizations and establishing actual working relationships, within a complete group of: Indie Record Labels, Music Publishers, Promoters, Radio Stations, Recording Studios, Marketing & Media Partners and so much more, that will encompass over 36 countries by the end of 2013, in a new innovative community called: INDIE WORLD. We are also creating special panels and workshops, that will provide the necessary tools, not only to enhance the artist, writer and musicians current needs, but, will assist in elevating them to the next levels of their careers. We have established a special chapter in the state of Nevada and we will continue to create additional chapters in those needed areas, one state at a time. Indie World will also become one of the most effective advocates, for the royalty rights, of the unsigned indie artist, writer and musician! Artists, writers and musicians alike who sign up with Indie World, will be plugging into a community of professional organizations, who have the same vision as them and who are devoted to multimedia promotion and marketing of all genres of indie music talent. They will have the respectful treatment and representation in (but, not limited to): Having the questions and concerns of the artist, writer and musician, addressed and answered PR and Booking assistance and guidance Receive limited Legal advice Financial Consultation services Providing the tools and guidance in building your fan base Assistance with CD and DVD duplication and replication Artist Merchandise creation and sales Receive actual artist and song reviews Assistance in obtaining sponsorships and endorsements Receive discounts on studio recording and rehearsal time Receive major discounts on mastering with professional producers Vocal and performance coaching Assistance with copyright and royalty issues (ASCAP, BMI, SOCAN, SESAC) Access to: Networking opportunities, Workshops, Panels, Showcases and Festivals And so much more! And why is membership in this network a benefit to music organizations? Simply put, as a member of our global community, organizations can become more competitive by plugging into our digital network of hundreds of thousands of indie unsigned artists, writers and musicians. And our community will constantly look for new creative ways to engage and interact with fans and artists on a global basis. Organizations will also network with some of the best indie resources in the new indie music industry today, while receiving leads and opportunities on a global playing field, unlike with any current marketing capability. Being part of Indie World, we will all work together for the benefit of the indie artist, writer and musician. Since the actual survival of the entrepreneurial artist in today's new indie world, requires them to be their own marketer, they will need the extra guidance from those organizations and individuals, that have their same visions.
