The Indigenous Womb is a blending of rhythmic and verbal art forms. With musical essentials spanning from hip-hop, to reggae and dancehall, the Womb creates a distinct hybrid sound. The vocals are delivered by four different artist, with Vex-Bliss (2002 Poesie pour Paris Spoken Word champion), Signifire (2002 World MC1 Battle Champion), and Amen handling the hip-hop aspect and Bahamas Native Ras Dan Seally adding diversity with Reggae and Dance hall elements. The Production Is headed by DJ Sseleman, a producer and DJ who blesses all with his gifted ear and keen sense of musical proficiency. With their energetic stage show the DC based crew has opened for likes of Cee Lo Green, The Roots, 311, Culture, Mr. Lif, Little Brother and Akrobatik and has played everywhere from Vermont to Hawaii.
