Indira is the marriage of controlled chaos and melody. With heartfelt lyrics and complex guitars, the quintet strive to break through the constraints of conventional thinking.
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, the first incarnation of the band was formed in early 2003. In 2006 the band took a two-year hiatus in which the group went to the Far East to learn proper meditation techniques and harness the power of truth. Now they've returned, hungry and ready to throw down their hard-earned life lessons for a piece of the hot rock. Having previously shared the stage with bands such as Saosin, Unearth, Sick of it All, Zao, A Dozen Furies, Story of the Year, My Chemical Romance, Haste the Day, Senses Fail and many others, they are continuing where they left off...
