The INDISTOGETHER project began back in 2002 as a grunge-meets-lounge collaboration between producers, BANZAI REPUBLIC, and Danish-American singer/song-writer JON CENTURY.
The dissolution of the Republic in 2004 would have almost certainly consigned the project to oblivion, had JON CENTURY and CINEMA OF SOUND (JON ANDERSON of the ex-Republic and JONAS ØSTERGAARD) not determined to see the project through...
Work on the first INDISTOGETHER album has been in fits and starts from 2006 until now, sandwiched in the downtime between other Cinema of Sound projects and Jon C’s recording of his own JON CENTURY BAND albums.
A comparison between one of the new tracks - SOUL OF ANOTHER, and the other 3 tracks in the MySpace player above will give you some idea of the serious stylistic changes INDISTOGETHER has undergone since the original dark, moody tracks from the time of Banzai Republic.
Is it electronic? Pop? Rock? Something wet and mushy? Decide and tell us what you think...
And (SURPRISE!!!) the new album is now only a few recording sessions and some considerable cutting and pasteing from completion. So please drop by again in the weeks ahead...
