May 2000, Cannes Film Festival at 4am, on a boat, surrounded by beach and mountains, after an incredible night of clubs and parties, only one question came to mind the minds of Marc Jones, Eric Jones, Tom Adams, and Christian Hunter. Why not in Santa Barbara? They wanted to create a night club in down town Santa Barbara that was stylish and fun with an energetic atmosphere. After one and a half years of careful planning, a trip to Thailand with curators of Bangkok Museum of Art, and many careful purchases, along with a follow up trip to Shanghai, they then had all the resources to build Indochine...
