About Tim Cox/timmers (Indulge - www.labelofsound.com)
First off, Indulge is NOT A BAND...
indulge is a concept that started in 2002 and from there it evolved into a project aimed to invigorate the senses thru music, photography, digital media, art, etc;
in other words the project known as Indulge is more than just the music, its also about visuals, capturing moments in time, adding a soundtrack to those moments as well as interpreting it in another light, shaping it to where i can get a common positive reaction out of the individual experiencing it...
MUSIC: deep, funky, spacey sounds, innovative, forward-thinking, chilled, groovin' sounds... for examples, check out my sets on our website (we being Sky W & myself, partnered for the purpose of the website)www.labelofsound.com, most of the sets consist of a weird combination downtempo/ambient/trip hop/rock/retro/80s/90s pop/whatever but there are some house sets, you can find the playlists on our LABEL myspace page in the BLOG SECTION... still working on the playlist page on our website...
ART: i use photography (i am an amateur, very amateur) of almost anything and alter it to a degree of satisfaction of sorts, always tweaking something from landscapes (my favorite) to nightlife, rarely taking shots of people & if i do, its usually while they're in the moment, you can find examples of what i like to do in my ALBUMS section, i'm more into the digital side of things as opposed to the traditional type of art, i guess to go along with my 'electronic' persona if you will... WAIT! Did that come out right?? But i love most mediums of art... still exploring in the meanwhile...
VIDEO: still in the learning/experimental stages right now, should have something for everyone to peek at come Spring 2009...
more to come...
