The Industrialized Metal Webzine crew exists out of two vegans and one vegetarian, and are in support of animal rights.

INDUSTRIALIZED METAL WEBZINE
A webzine concentrating on industrial metal!
This site was officially born in 2004, under the name metal-reviews.tk. The url was logically www.metal-reviews.tk. Although, I realised that there are too many metal styles to promote so I decided to just promote one of them. There are already lots of grindcore, death metal, black metal and gothic metal sites, so I decided to promote a not big (yet) scene: Industrial metal. This always has been one of my favourite styles, and I felt like it deserved more promotion.
In 2005 we decided to exchange the grey design for a more darker one, which was put .. on valentines day 2005. But in the rest of 2005 happened a lot with the page. Bands got to know our website, and it grew and grew. Then, we re-designed it again, and brought it back .. with the current design. The webpage grew bigger and bigger, and we started to make plans for organizing some cool gigs in The Netherlands.
2006 clearly became a new and exciting chapter for us, with the organisation of a mini-tour in the South of The Netherlands (with Italian industrial metal bands DyNAbyte and No Forgiveness supported by local Dutch black metal band Maskim Xul) and a Dutch release party for another Italian band named Neon Synthesis for their 'Our Empty Rooms' CD only one day after the official release date (release party featured a gig with Golem 101 from Germany in Castricum near Amsterdam). We gave birth to a MySpace profile too.
One year later (2007) the Industrialized Metal Webzine continued on this path with ease. This year, we reached the 200+ album reviews and 325+ band profiles, and we're crawling closer and closer to reach 100 interviews. In January 2007, we brought No Forgiveness from Italy back for a very successfull mini-tour, sharing the stages with Reel, Next Waste Dimension and Maskim Xul. October 19th brought us the first and so far only European show for the Australian band Volkmar (w/ DeadCell and NecroMorticA), which wasn't a bad occasion at all. In fact, Volkmar called it one of the best shows of their tour, that brought them in Chile and the U.S.A. as well! Another exciting development this year is the Seven Times More Scary label and distro. Gerardo (the founder) was already planning to open a small independent label (mostly grindcore), but since quite some bands were complaining about the bad opportunities for distribution of industrial metal in The Netherlands and Europe, the decision has been made to combine the distro together with the label. The distro results as well in a new coalition with Synthetic Dawn Promotions, bringing some of their signed bands in the distro as well.
January 1st of 2008 brought us another big step forward, with a brand new .com website!
And last but not least, the site is still growing its way to a massive archive and source for all the industrial metal fans!
Although we started as 'just another webzine', we have made some developments within the years, which brought us close to a promotional company as well. Therefore, you can find us on more places.
YouTube
Yes, not only KoRn, Slipknot and Hatebreed have their videoclips - also industrial metal bands release them, although you won't be able to see them on MTV. Therefore, we created a YouTube profile in the first months of 2007, and currently we have a really nice and still growing database. From official videos to live videos and rehearsal video's - we've got it all. Make sure to check both our uploaded videos and the ones that are linked in our 'favorites' section while you're checking our YouTube profile. Like we have every month a different song featured on our profile, we'll be having a new featured video each month on our MySpace as well. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find out the video of this month!
Distro
October 2007 brought us also the birth of our own online distro and independent label - Seven Times More Scary Productions. We noticed that it's hard for young and talented industrial metal bands to find distributors in The Netherlands and also in the rest of the world, so we decided to give the opportunity to those who feel like to ourselves. This distro will be combined with a small independent label, which will be (co-)releasing more extreme stuff. Click on the banner to go to our distro!
DJ
It was more or less a coincidence. On one of the self-organised gigs, the club asked us if one of us would be able to do some spinning, because their regular DJ's didn't had too many industrial metal in their collection... Gerardo agreed to play before and inbetween the bands, and recieved great replies of both the audience and the regular club DJs. Gerardo was flattered, but didn't plan to do more sets until mid-2006. All of a sudden he recieved an offer to spin at a private party later that year, and early 2007 again on a self-organised gig. Again great replies followed, and Gerardo decided after summer 2007 to look out for more opportunities to spin. A DJ-set of Gerardo consists of various industrial metal (or plain metal or electro/EBM/future pop if requested), which turns, combined with a great instinct for timing, every audience into a party. Explosive, atmospheric or just gentle and relaxing - he offers it all! For bookings, just drop us a line.
Local Promoter
As you might have read above, we also rarely organise gigs and mini-tours. This doesn't mean that we'll book some dates for your band right away. We don't only do industrial metal gigs, but we must like your band (else we won't even bother). We always try to keep the gage as low as possible, so the clubs will be able to keep the entrance fee as low as possible too. This way, more people will attend to the show (remember, Dutchies are cheapasses) and the band gets more promotion. We do this in a non-profit way (which means that we won't make money because of it). Bands we've booked so far are a.o. No Forgiveness (Italy), DyNAbyte (Italy), Volkmar (Australia), DeadCell (The Netherlands), Reel (The Netherlands), Neon Synthesis (Italy) and Golem 101 (Germany).

Compilations
After years of working with the Industrialized Metal Webzine, one thing clearly became clear: there are many, many great bands out there, but hardly anyone of them gets the chance to get their music heard on a proper way. Labels hardly pay attention to give them a chance, and if they do they base their contracts on money-making terms for the industry. Because it is our opinion that bands don't need money-loving record labels these days to get their music heard (how we love the internet!) we teamed up with our friends for Death To Music Productions to end up in the release of industrial metal compilations. All of them are to be downloaded for free on DTM's page, and all the bands are interviewed on the Industrialized Metal Webzine. Check out the banners to download the compilations!
