About me:
THE INDY ARTISTS' PEACE PROJECT MISSION STATEMENT: The Indy Artists' Peace Project is a community of Indiana based creative artists who have dedicated themselves to the work of peace, nonviolence and social justice. We reject all methods of war, violence and torture as a means of social change and call upon our political leaders to work towards sane, practical and peaceful solutions to the ills of the world. We are non partisan, self supporting and not funded by or affiliated with any political party. We are inclusive of people of all religious traditions and believe deeply in the strength of diversity. As you swim through the Sea of Uncertainty of Life…Remember your angel is there to lift you above the waves. You have no need to struggle when you surrender to that Divine assistance. May joy fill your spirit as you release the fears that pull you under and allow your angel to support you above the waves.
(For a more detailed story, see my blog titled “Archangel Anael Channeling”)

Are you coming to the Angel Empowerment Workshop in Indy at the end of July? It will be a wonderful assistance to your spiritual growth! Hope to see you there:)

Hey all,

I wanted to invite everyone to the Tenderness Tour Summer Picnic & CD Release Party. To celebrate the Tenderness Tour's 20th Anniversary, we're release a 19-track music compilation on 6/14/09 to benefit this 20th Anniversary Tour...during which I will wheel one more time across the state of Indiana.

Admission is free. It's at Northview Church of the Brethren, 5555 East 46th Street in Indy (just east of Emerson). Come prepared to listen to music on the lawn, pick up your copy of "Give a Girl a Chance" and enjoy a great afternoon with peace-minded friends! We could also still use a few volunteers!

The CD will also be available at Luna Music, Indy CD & Vinyl, Amazon, CDBaby.com & More!

Mumbai Taxi

Apr 21 2009 3:37 AM

Yes, times are hard-- Unemployment in Indiana tops ten percent. Young people are struggling to stay in college because graduating is terrifying... Been there before, in the middle of another painful recession in the 80's-- The answer was reggae music-- I brought reggae bands to stages from PA to Iowa, and points in between. Those years were spent in the groove, poor but irie! Now, we need music more than ever before-- Even with hope on the horizon, it's going to be a long haul this time. Mumbai Taxi is trying to ease the pain-- Yes, there will be weekends when a cover at a club, and the price of drinks, will be a bit dear... Our solution: HOUSE PARTIES!!! We need to play, and you need trips, Taxi trips-- A cosmic convergence of positive iration! Let's declare a new SUMMER OF LOVE-- Of Mumbai Taxi psychedeclic Mambo, Tropicalia, Soukous, Soweto Beat & Rockin' Raga Reggae in living rooms, back yards, deep woods, concert halls, gardens, festivals-- Wherever there is a need to tune in, turn on, and take a (Mumbai) Taxi trip! Contact us soon-- The calendar is filling up.
