About me:
COMING SOON! THE INDY MUSIC AWARDS 2009
The INDY Music Awards uniquely celebrate, recognise, encourage and reward the hard work of festivals, live music venues, their promoters and the very best emerging artists they showcase and help develop, ensuring the grass roots of the UK music industry continues to thrive and prosper and produce the stars and talent of the future.
In 2008, 600 UK festivals, venues and promoters nominated over 700 emerging artists, with the awards reaching an estimated audience of 40 million via traditional media, the internet and the televised awards ceremony on Rockworld TV.
Many of the participating artists have gone on to be signed by management, agents and record labels (independent and major) and secured higher profile gigs including major festivals as a direct result of their involvement with The INDY Music Awards.
Now entering their third year The INDY Music Awards have established themselves as the industry standard for emerging talent and are the only awards scheme to be fully supported by major industry bodies including The Association of Independent Music (AIM) and The Musicians’ Union.
UK festivals, venues and promoters call for nominations will be made in January 2009.

Ladies and Gentlemen!!!
The BRB's have two exciting shows coming up! It would give us great pleasure if you could come and boogie those butts at:
1) THE VINTAGE INN in Wellington on Friday the 29th of October. This is going to simply be a release of pure funky energy as it will be our first gig after being in the recording studio for so long!
&
2) THE RING OF BELLS on the 6th of November. This one is for charity so come along and help support those affected by violence at home and in the streets.
The new E.P. will be finished as soon as possible and it really is an exciting project. Recorded at a great studio and under the supervision of world renowned musician and producer Mr Jonathan Joseph, it will be released at an event at MAMA STONES in Exeter where the BRB's will be playing and the E.P. available to buy.
There are NEW VIDEOS on YouTube available for everyone to see. Please feel free to entertain yourselves with some of the last footage of The Perfect Fifth, taken on the night the band supported the original Sugarhill Gang hip-hopsters, and videos taken from the album 'YEAR OF THE BABOON.'
