Yes, times are hard-- Unemployment in Indiana tops ten percent. Young people are struggling to stay in college because graduating is terrifying... Been there before, in the middle of another painful recession in the 80's-- The answer was reggae music-- I brought reggae bands to stages from PA to Iowa, and points in between. Those years were spent in the groove, poor but irie! Now, we need music more than ever before-- Even with hope on the horizon, it's going to be a long haul this time. Mumbai Taxi is trying to ease the pain-- Yes, there will be weekends when a cover at a club, and the price of drinks, will be a bit dear... Our solution: HOUSE PARTIES!!! We need to play, and you need trips, Taxi trips-- A cosmic convergence of positive iration! Let's declare a new SUMMER OF LOVE-- Of Mumbai Taxi psychedeclic Mambo, Tropicalia, Soukous, Soweto Beat & Rockin' Raga Reggae in living rooms, back yards, deep woods, concert halls, gardens, festivals-- Wherever there is a need to tune in, turn on, and take a (Mumbai) Taxi trip! Contact us soon-- The calendar is filling up.

Don’t miss this Taxi trip!
STOP Same Sex Abuse

Apr 14 2009 2:19 PM

About this page:
I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this.

DJ Monkey - "3rd World War"

“ …soul-stirring, excitingly edgy music…just disturbing (read ‘mind-fucking’) enough to demand attention. There is a whole spice rack of auditory flavors here, served up like fractured poetry on a collection of intensely listenable Hallmark cards from Hell.

“If you never see their group shot, ignorance should feel safe, but may never cherish hip-hop’s hues of developing creativity. From the State that has brought you Sugar Ray and Linkin Park , another hybrid group, ranging in ethnicity and ages, takes California hip-hop to another level (note the title ‘Another Evolution). No extended samples or remakes, this group of trained musicians, create their own spoken word, jazz, folk and hip-hop sound.
